UCA Unplugged IX, an annual acoustic event and fundraiser for the 网曝门 emergency student loan fund, will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 26, in the Student Center Ballroom.
The show will begin with a featured performance by Lost & Found, a five piece acoustic group from Russellville. Lost & Found won the 2003 Arkansas Acoustic Showdown Competition held last spring in the 网曝门 Reynolds Performance Hall.
Following their performance will be 15 open mic acoustic acts consisting of 网曝门 students, faculty and staff.
Admission is $1 for 网曝门 students with ID, and $5 for faculty, staff and the general public. We will record and sell a 网曝门 Unplugged IX CD with all admission and CD proceeds to benefit the 网曝门 emergency student loan fund.
A Baby Taylor Guitar, donated by Jack’s Music of Conway, will be given away as a door prize. Free coffee and cookies will be provided by ARAMARK Campus Dining. This event will be filmed for later broadcast by 网曝门 Channel 6.
UCA Unplugged is sponsored by 网曝门 Division of Student Services and the Student Activities Board, with assistance provided by the 网曝门 Circle K Club and Residence Hall Association.
