The University of Central Arkansas will launch the ÍøÆØÃÅ Makerspace Powered by the Conductor at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5.
The ÍøÆØÃÅ Makerspace Powered by the Conductor is a place for students, faculty, staff, alumni and the community to make, design and dream. The Conductor is a public-private initiative powered by the Central Arkansas Venture Team, sponsored by the University of Central Arkansas and supported by Startup Junkie Consulting.
The ÍøÆØÃÅ Makerspace offers weekly Maker Training workshops, as well as Maker Ambassadors who help projects — from a science fair project to a micromanufacturing job.
Additionally, the ÍøÆØÃÅ Makerspace’s Master Maker Jason Huselton can help any inventor bring an idea to life through prototyping and design processes.
Students and community members can also sign up for the ÍøÆØÃÅ Makerspace’s classes to learn more about making their own products.
Registration for the ÍøÆØÃÅ Makerspace classes and events will be open on Sept. 5. All of the classes and events are free and open to the public.
