Dr. Angela has been a leader in K-12 and higher education for many years. In K-12, she served as a school designer, principal, executive coach, consultant, and school board member. In higher education, she has served at Predominantly White Institutions, a Historically Black College/University, an art college, and a women’s college in the Middle East.

At the University of Central Arkansas, she serves as Associate Vice President of Student Affairs, leading the Office of Student Advocacy and Community. She also maintains the academic rank of Associate Professor of Leadership Studies.

She has authored newsletters, journal articles, book chapters, and books. She designs and facilitates educational programming for communities and organizations.

Dr. Angela earned a B.B.A. in Human Resources Management, an M.S. in Higher Education Curriculum and Instruction, and a Ph.D. in educational psychology, all from the University of Memphis. She is an American Council on Education Fellows alumna, a trained life coach, and a licensed school administrator (TN). Dr. Angela has received local, regional, and national awards.

She loves exploring life and listening to over 100 audiobooks per year.
