Nakeya Palmer is a Graduating Senior at 网曝门 majoring in Art History.聽 Her passion for Art began at an early age, with her first visit to the Ohr O鈥橩eefe Museum of Art, in Biloxi Ms.聽 During her time at 网曝门 She served as the President of 网曝门 Students for the Arts, the first College Chapter under Arkansans for the Arts. One of their biggest events this past year was the first Arts Fest Student Showcase at 网曝门 Downtown, in Fall 2019.聽 This showcase featured fine art, live music, spoken word artists and films from 网曝门 students.聽 In addition to her work as President she was also the Art Liaison for 网曝门 Downtown. During this internship she worked on curating art exhibitions such as Colors and Creativity Featuring ILS artists, the Second Annual Black History Month Exhibition, and Inaugural Showcases, entitled In the Black: The Rebirth of the Black Renaissance.聽 聽Here is a Link to check out those shows!
